Online Marketing Expert
We are seeking a highly motivated person to manage the day to day details
of online marketing and related strategies. This person will be responsible
for generating cost effective traffic to numerous websites as well as
testing, tracking and measuring the success of all marketing activities
through data analysis. This employee will require analytical skills and
the ability to manage multiple projects and resources.
Responsibilities include:
- Drive traffic to client sites.
- Execute internet marketing initiatives to meet strategic business goals
and objectives.
- Manage the day-to-day details of the online campaign strategies including
PPC, shopping sites, SEO, affiliate and email marketing, content management,
surveys, RSS, and blogging.
- Recommend website changes and modifications that will attract more
customers, increase sales and improve customer satisfaction. Work collaboratively
with the IT team to ensure website modifications are clearly communicated
and meet the desired objectives.
- Project manage a team of internal staff and off-site consultants.

- Must be capable of:
- Documenting project business requirements
- Translate into actionable tasks
- Prioritize and follow up
- Quality Control prior to launching
- Analytics:
- Utilize website analytics data in order to identify technical/usability/shopping cart abandonment issues.
- Formulize and present actionable recommendations based on your analysis and best practice research, implement suggested changes, then track the outcome.
Qualifications
Required:
- Online marketing experience
- Ability to drive traffic to the web site
- Ability to handle the day-to-day details of an Online Marketing Department
- Proven analysis and data reporting skills
- Project management experience
- Excel proficiency
- Excellent communication (both written and verbal)
- Must be able to meet project deadlines
- Fast learner, problem solver, and loves a challenge
- Patient, excellent attention to detail and follow through
- Ability to juggle many projects at one time
- Experience with an enterprise website analytics tool (Google Analytics, Omniture, Coremetrics, Hitbox, etc.) in an eCommerce environment
